With a focus on Machine Learning and AI, Soumya is constantly studying and working to stay ahead of the curve in these rapidly evolving fields. At Microsoft, Soumya works on the Bing search engine, specifically on the Bing Predicts team, where he is responsible for predicting the outcomes of various public events and using data science to help people make decisions online. He has also worked with the Related Search team, helping users understand their search intent and showing them other queries that might help them reach their final destination sooner. Soumya has also worked on the enterprise predictions aspect, helping companies understand their market, product trends, and forecasts. Prior to his current role, Soumya has worked with Adobe and Airtight Networks, where he honed his skills as a software engineer and research scientist. At Airtight Networks, Soumya worked on the availability aspect of the server, while at Adobe, he served as a member of the technical staff. Soumya holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIIT Delhi and completed his Senior Secondary education from Vidya Bharti School.
